Manisha started her medicine career as a general practitioner in India and later on decided to be a pathologist. She completed her MD in Pathology from J.L.N.Medical College, India.

After moving to Australia, she trained at various hospitals: Royal Brisbane Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Nambour Hospital and Nepean Hospital (Sydney). She also worked at QML Pathology. During her training she was involved in teaching medical students at the University of Queensland.

Articles & Presentations:
While training as a pathology registrar in India, she completed her thesis on the significance of fine needle aspiration in thyroid swelling. She has also completed a clinical nephropathology certificate program from ISN (International Society of Nephropathology).
